This site is to see if enough people living on the continent of America would agree with exercising Article 5 of the Constitution of the United States to institute a convention of states to add an amendment to the Constitution allowing states to break away from the union and live independently territory or country.
The decision to exercise Article 5 of The Constitution would unit people that have different views and ideologies. No matter where you come from, how you think or what you believe in, petitioning for the use of Article 5 means you could live in an independent country (state) on the continent of America free from the US government. thus,

The end result to petitioning for the governors or state legislators to exercise Article 5 of The Constitution asking them to set forth an amendment allowing states to become their own territory, or country would shape the North American Continent to look something like the picture above, Europe. instead of New England, New Hampshire, New York etc. the North American Continent would be the New Europe.
Texas had it right all along. The lone star state always wanted to be separate from the Union. Texas was the only state that wanted to be independent and to this day would want to be an independent state. People have talked about states being independent in the past, Texas stood alone then and stands-alone now.
This website isn't a protest, it's not trying to divide people. This website merely is trying to get a pulse on the people of the North American Continent (America) on how they feel about states becoming independent from the rest of the states and breaking away from the American union.
The country of America is clearly divided by different ideologies. The ideologies seem to be different based on, half of the people in America wanting to live a traditional American life according to the literal words and original interpretation of The American Constitution. The other half of the people want to live in a nontraditional America, wanting to deviate from the original constitution. They want to consider The Constitution a living breathing document and do not want to live by its literal words. The nontraditional people do not want to use the words of The Constitution in the same context are forefathers intended. The people that are the nontraditional half of America want to set a new standard for living in America, a new and different way of life then how traditional American's have interpreted the Constitution for the last 200 plus years.
People are divided, this division is growing. The division is irritating people more and more and the words "civil war" is becoming more accepted day after day. Because of a nontraditional movement growing in America people are becoming less united and more separated. The more division, the more fractured, and the more the words "civil war" are mentioned is making people emotionally and physically disconnected. The physical separation is that people are moving into areas (states) where they feel more comfortable to live, creating a tribal scenario. The fracturing of Americans is giving people a feeling that there could be an actual physical confrontation between the two sides with the two different ideologies, the traditional Americans and nontraditional people.
This website is designed to see how many people in America feel the so-called United States, is not so united and whether people agree for states to break away from the American union. The website is to see if enough people would want to move forward using Article 5 of the Constitution to make an amendment allowing states within the American union to govern themselves free from the federal government, completely on their own. The easiest way to exercise Article 5 to amend The Constitution is obtaining a majority vote by state legislatures from 34 of the 50 states. The majority vote will agree to an amendment, then ratifying the amendment with another majority vote creating the new amendment to The Constitution. This process would bypass a Congressional Proposal and the Senate, forming a convention of states. Looking up the actual Article (Article 5) in The Constitution or, LOL, you can "Duck Duck Go" it and find a more detailed explanation of the Article.
One point of letting States break away from the Union is that the states are already segregated. Each of the states in the Americas have their own identities. Not only does each state have their own constitutions, state symbol, state song, government and judicial system in place, each state has its own living environment or aura. Some states have their own way of speaking, some states have different accents and slangs. Each region of America, the Northeast, the Southwest, the Midwest etc. has its way of living and ideologies. The America we have lived in the past and live in today has forced and is forcing people that live in each state to be a part of the American union. Some states and the people that live in those states might not want to be a part of the American union; they simply do not want to share the American Continent with people that have different ideologies under one federal government. We don't allow animals to be caged up, we call that abuse. Keeping states bound to the branches of government in America (congress, the senate, and all the admirative branches) is abuse. Having legislatures from states making decisions for people in other states is problematic, obviously, look what America is today. California legislatures should never have influence on people's lives in Alabama and vice a verse.
The forefathers that created the constitution had a dream; the dream was a place (America) that would be fair, antiseptic from dictators and kings, America would be the pinnacle of countries. The foundation of America (The Constitution) would put every other country to shame and from my point of view The US Constitution is No.1. But times have changed, young people are being indoctrinated in America's school systems to hate America. There are communities and groups throughout America promoting that America is bad, they are promoting it's the worst place on the planet to live. The indoctrination of a nontraditional America is splintering the masses that live in this country. The people who are anti America are actually using the constitution that was so brilliantly constructed against itself, weird, but that is a whole other conversation.
I feel all the blood shed for the greatest doctrine of all time (The American Constitution) was shed for half the people in today's America, not for everyone. No more blood should be shed for half the people that despises America, hates The Constitution, and has no respect for the soldiers that have died for their freedom. If states can become independent territories, they can protect themselves with their own armies. The people of those territories will respect and embrace their own military, unlike half of the people in America who do not embrace and respect America's military.
I would like to make something clear. The website isn't about starting arguments or siding with pro American or non pro American people. I am a pro American person, I do believe in the Constitution, and I am a traditionalist, but I do believe in change and things don't always stay the same. God gave us a great gift, the gift to make choices. People should have the right to choose who they would like to live with and what ideologies they would want to live by. Empires have dismantled throughout history over the same issue America is facing today, and now it's time for the so-called United States of America to dismantle its failing empire.
America is a young country. Lots of countries that are older than America have gone through growing pains, restructuring through their existence and America is no different. I feel it's time for a change. I think it's time to restructure the American Continent to look like Europe, small countries living amongst each other all with different views, ways of life, and ideologies.
Is a civil war the answer to restructuring America? it looks like there is a possibility of a civil war. The different ideologies in America are obvious, Family, friends, co-workers, neighbors are realizing no matter the relationship with the people in their lives some of those people want to live a different way of life from their own. There seems to be lots of friction between people in America, there are less constructive discussions amongst people about issues that divide us. The lack of discussions leaves both sides at each other's throats with confrontations becoming physical. I'm 58 years old and never have seen tension and division in America like there is now. My opinion is that we should use Article 5 of The Constitution to free up states, so they are able to form their own territories or countries allowing people to live amongst other people with the same ideologies.
I have set up this website to see if people agree with me, that using Article 5 of the Constitution would be the answer to fixing the problem of America being ununited. The website would see if people other than me would agree to states breaking away from the American union, for states to be free from all the other states legislatures and the federal government. If this site can generate enough traffic and can get enough people to answer YES to allowing states to break away from the union, this petition will be presented to the governors of all the states and or the legislative powers of those states. Those governors and legislative powers can take the petition, and the peoples wishes to assemble a convention of states exercising Article 5 of The Constitution. After a convention of states, the governors can create an amendment allowing states to become independent from the American union. The amendment could go as far as letting states split in half, like North and South Korea or East and West Germany, letting half of a state break away from the other half of a state. I believe in this movement; I believe this is the direction America should move towards. The battle over the continent of America is about a traditional America and a non-traditional America, it's developing into a grass roots gang war (Red vs. Blue) and the north American continent is the turf. There must be allowed a separation, an outlet, a place of refuge for people that do not want to live amongst other people with different ideologies. This movement can be used as a filter to see how many people would move to a newly formed territory of their choice and the types of people they would like to live amongst. The separation of states from the American union and people moving into new territories would be create a New Europe. An amendment to The Constitution allowing states to break away from the American union would allow people to move to the territory which would subscribe to their way of life. Most important, this movement could help escape an almost eminent confrontation, a second civil war.
THE QUESTION IS THE REASON FOR THIS WEBSITE
If you would like to answer the question, "do you feel the United States is so divided, with so many people with different ideologies that we should allow states to become independent from the American union and become their own territory or country"? thus, possibly reshaping the American Continent into a New Europe.
